Every time they talk about huge pressures and doing everything you need to get a drive, I just think of Kimi saying "it's more like hobby for me, so obviously I don't have to do it if I don't want." 😂

Bottas only won in Russia because of Lewis penalty not because he was any faster......

@Cricket England That is the same as Bruno Senna... but he's not alone, F1 has a history of drivers just getting to drive because of their name, or how rich they are. He's also not racing, he's just doing free practice. As the saying goes "the proof is in the pudding", but as he's currently 1st in F2, I think that warrants him at least a test drive. I

Honda don't really have a sports car brand image to sell off F1. The Japanese companies make purely financial decisions - apparently not enough return on their marketing spend. Same happened with Toyota. Renault make family cars. Seems they have re branded to Alpine for the much same kind of reason, So if the Alpine brand doesn't take off pretty quick I would be worried about their commitment too.

@Roman Baranovichi My impression is that Senard is a money man rather than a car guy. I think he would drop F1 in a minute if the numbers don't add up. He's always been pretty hard headed when it comes to profit and loss.

The new Renault chairman is a motorsport fan, so as long as he’s in charge, the Renault F1 project should be fine

What's going to happen with the Aston Martin branding on Red Bull regalia when Aston Martin heads its own team ? Will Red Bull use the same engine...

Pip I’d expect red bull to have a different major sponsor for next year, possibly influenced if they announce their new ICE supplier

There won't be any branding on Red Bull next year...its a pure sponsorship deal that will end...all Aston Martin cash will go into their race team
