F1 is so clearly rigged it is painful to watch. For commercial reasons, they wanted Red Bull to have a pole/win before the season ended so as to keep interest up in what is a declining audience. So they obviously turned down the Merc Engine power for this race which gave Max a chance to do better than they otherwise would have. In sports all key decisions are made away from public eye.

Finally Verstappen has shown the world that he is the best F1 driver . I think that Mercedes has "" given away "" the Grand Prix of Abu Dabi to Verstappen as token of consolation.

Why oh why do those at Sky make hay out of nothing when it comes to Max? When will their Red Bull worship considered unprofessional? Are they too close to Horner? Every single race Hamilton dispatch of the field they dismiss as nothing special running in clean air and not having to pass anyone yet as soon as the power was turned down on the championship-winning Mercs they all behave as though Red Bull is the best since sliced bread. Watching the live race I am also not impressed with the total 180 by Anthony Davidson, why can't h=the state the obvious the Mercedes did not make a single effort to win that boring race? Sending two cars into a race with a less than optimal engine mode is folly and robbed the real Mercedesfans of a good race. Another leg up For Red Bull to keep Honda in the race. Pityful.
