So guys... Who wants to see this man performing sbinalla in Aston Martin...😃😃😃. No matter whichever team he goes to, don't expect any miracle to happen... He wants his car to be built around in a certain way, if not he performs sbinalla and do all kinds of weird and hopeless acts. You can't even draw a parallel between this guy and with the likes of great drivers like Lewis or Fernando for that matter. Seb is just a driver...won't even rate him as good. By seeing how he performs in races it is hard to even classify him as mediocre or average. But Lewis and Fernando are in a different league altogether..Lewis infact is a one of a kind, extremely talented elite driver who you won't come across that many. They are legend/great/extraordinary for a reason...cause they can adapt to the changes, they would outperform the car which they drive and have the talent or ability to squeeze out every bit of performance from the power unit of the car that the drive. They are natural talents. They are flexible and delivers consistently. Seb on the other hand, the kind of guy who blames the tools and machinery to cover the lack of skills...a buffoon...a joke...

Like many comments said, Car is Nr.1. if AM delivers the car, wins will come. Possible 4-5th in the constructors, few wins along the way. Should shut the cancel culture here in the comment section.

I'm not sure of the status of Adrien Neweys contract at Red Bull. But I'm going to call it right now, Newey will leave Red Bull for Aston Martin within the next couple of years. Brand new factory next year for the team as well. Anyone remember when he almost joined Jaguar back in 2001? Interestingly he would later join that team but as Red Bull by then. I can just see Lawrence doubling Neweys salary to try and lure him to Aston so his son can have a legit chance at winning a title.

Seb entered a sim race with ex drivers and sim regulars - and finished 12th. Seb is no stranger to sim driving hes been doing it his entire life....when he finished mid pack in that race (peddling older models cars) it highlighted for me, hes not as sharp as he needs to be...I cant see Seb staying in F1 for more than a year or two more...the new sim kids are too quick.

@John Paul Seb lost to daniel in 2014 and it hurt his confidence and he has done to same with charles. I say lewis and nando is mentally stronger because they don’t let emotions get to them. For example, baku 2017 if the roles were reversed I don’t think lewis would have done would seb did by driving into the side of it. Seb functions on confidence meanwhile lewis and nando function on having a chip on their shoulder.

@UV and add to that the performance of the cars. In 17 the car tho competitive had major issues in high & medium speed corners & lacked in power. If it wasn't for the sheer pace, consistency & the reliability of the WO8 he would've won that title considering he had the better stats (qualifying pos avg & race finish pos average, he also won 88% of the points available to him as supposed to Lewis claiming just 73%). In 18 Arriverbene literally admitted they botched the developments due to correlation issues post Belgium.

In 17 they definitely didn't have the sheer pace nor the consistency & reliability of the WO8 yet seb was statiscally the best driver that year, he literally had the best qualifying (starting) position average & race finish pos average and he won 88% of the points available to him as supposed to Lewis claiming just 73%. The only period when Ferrari had a competetive package was in the first 8 races of 18 as Arriverbene himself admits.

So one win might be on the cards, but I have strong sensation they will be more of a Jordan 1999 where if they play the cards well they can even get to the end of the season with some chance to get the tittle. The car looks well engineered, and the best using those little tokens. NOTICE minimal sidepods and more sculpted front wing

Only thing which goes against Mercedes is how many of their staff they’ve had to get rid of this year to hit the budget cap - this has also been evident at McLaren as well. To restructure a whole team on the level they’ve had to, will negatively affect performance moving forward. Ferrari didn’t want to fire any staff, so they’ve built Haas a building next to their own at Maranello at moved a large number of their staff there. Aston are already running at the budget cap, and they’ve been extremely clever with funds for years now - everything from 3D printed steering wheels, over carbon fibre ones. Also to note is that wind tunnel time is now based on the finishing position in 2020, so Mercedes have very little time to develop parts, but Aston will have a lot more time due to finishing 4th as Racing Point. I would say the future is quite bright for Aston Martin moving forward!
