Mad how people moan about having to pay for things these days, Sky F1 is 100x better than previous coverage. If you cant afford £10 you can’t really care that much about F1

Sorry Ferrari and any other teams who have had, and may still have, an unfairly large piece of the pie. I want to see a fair F1 where success goes to the deserving, that is what sport if supposed to be about. Don't like that notion? Either swallow it for the the sake of the sport that gives you a reason to exist or sling your hook! There is a reason why teams like Haas and now Racing Point do what they do and it's nothing to do with sportsmanship, just survival. I would be much sadder to see either of those teams go under than if Ferrari had a hissy-fit and walked away. The same goes for those teams that have already gone under who would otherwise still be around and likely competitive if not for such selfishness.

The biggest change is this season when F1 became 'The Lewis Hamilton BLM Show' and not one driver or commentator has the guts to say "Enough is enough".

Won’t change anything because Mercedes will carry in winning as long as they are in F1 and anyway it a sad day in F1 now that Williams are no more an F1 team and Frank and family have left the sport...

Absolutely outrageous that Ferrari gets preferential treatment. Even with that unfair benefit, they're currently on their way to the bottom. Cheats get caught eventually, then they pay....

@Cricket England I come from the future and have seen the past you have yet to behold. In the decade ahead Google realizes its mistake in not buying into the Sports market. 2034 NLcameras begins it quest and by the year 2039 they will show all events for free paid for by other Google and NLcameras subscriptions and advertising from some of earths biggest companies.

The biggest change was when you Sky, stupidly put the live races behind a paywall. And it's not very cheap. You would have thought as well during the pandemic you'd let us watch the live races as for financial issues. You cheeky greedy company.

Charlie yeah, I totally agree with you there, I might be wrong on what I said, it’s secondary knowledge but I do believe that they’re at the very least looking into it when the sky contract runs out, if you can be bothered to do any research to prove me wrong then that’s fair enough.

Blufferfish089 Really, I’m pretty sure almost all the big games this summer were on Sky except 1. Even F1 is open to public for silverstone, truth is very few sports especially those at top level with high demand are viable on open networks

Charlie to be fair, cricket T20 have started broadcasting on public services like itv and bbc instead of sky because people were too discouraged by the paywall

True but ultimately that's just where almost all sports have headed, even things like music with Spotify etc. We now pay for things we never used to & its normalised. Liberty have kind of grown the fanbase in recent years by going online, I guess few people look at 'viewership/ratings' they way they used to 15+ years ago. Times change, they'll be no rush back to free to air.

@bsrlbck2013 things have got worse because we are still living under the previous concord agreement and car regulations overseen by Bernie Eccelstone. Liberty have been trying to undo the mess and I think they're doing a great job.

William MacTavish simply by putting the sport behind a paywall makes the viewership drop significantly, theres probably many other things but i wouldn’t know because there is a paywall
