Not gonna lie. I'm a big F1 fan, watched these a few times and found this Notebook report a really boring format TBH. Even Formula One does this better. But then again, watching hours of cricket is exciting by British standards, so maybe next time I should get myself a nice cup of tea to prevent falling asleep.

Never ever ever try to remove our Ted from Sky F1 coverage again like happened a few years back. A superb presenter who has the knack of explaining very technical stuff in a way that us mere mortals can understand. Funny, lighthearted and dont half notice when he is absent from a race weekend.

Was there really any truth to a “boss” that controls SKY potentially letting Ted go? Was there a alternate story? Read several things about it, and it seemed they are/have trimmed his time and off script coverage back. The weekend just isn’t the same without Ted covering all the outside details and summarizing sessions. There is so much filler...to remove elsewhere, Ted’s segments that are inventive offbeat and relevant to fans that get a feeling like they were there with Ted’s unique coverage. Anyone calling the shots at SKY that doesn’t see how valuable and unique his experienced take is on F1 is suspect.
